What a real treat we had today at our school. We met two young adults who are serving in the IDF and are part of the JAFI “Lone Soldier” program. They are considered “lone” soldiers because they have come to Israel to serve in the IDF, while their families live abroad and therefore they do not have families in Israel to advise, feed and comfort them during what can be extremely difficult times. Adi Katz and Ido Kllutz are very special young adults who shared their experiences in Israel with our Religious School teachers and students. They are exemplary people, soldiers, and a credit to Israel. We were honored to have them in our School.
