- · The Archaeology and Meaning of the Dead Sea Scrolls course continues on Monday, March 8, $10 per lecture.
- · Lunch and Learn will meet on Wednesday, March 10th in the library.

- · Saturday, March 20th is Hearts and Hummus program at 7:30. Check out our flyer in your bulletin for details about this fun and rewarding event. Location: Linda Shapiro's home 1129 Godfrey Lane, Niskayuna.

- · Adult Education presents Against the Tide, Saturday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m. Released in 2009 and narrated by Academy Award winner Dustin Hoffman, the movie portrays the history of American inaction during the Holocaust. Tickets at the door: $8 adults; $5 students. Refreshments will be served.
- · Adult Education proudly presents the first "Community of Jewish Writers" event in the Capital District, Sunday, March 14, from 2-4:30 p.m. The program will feature Jewish poets who reference their cultural, ethnic, and religious background in their writing. Reception and book sale. Free and open to the public.
- · Catering wants to lend you a helping hand this Passover. We will be selling a wide variety of Meals to Go Passover items. Order forms are in your March bulletin and can be picked up at the synagogue office. PASSOVER FOODS MUST BE ORDERED BY MARCH 16
- · Cooking Class with Risé and Barbara at Glen Sanders Mansion on March 24 at 6:30 p.m. Call 372-7262 to reserve a space in the class.
- · We are excited to offer (a first in a very long time) "Second Night of Passover Community Wide Seder" on Tuesday night, March 30. Flyers are in your March bulletins.
- · Divine Kosher Cuisine- $20 per copy OR join friends to purchase a box of 6 books for $98. Buy 5 and the 6th is free!
- · Please donate your loose change to USY for our Social Action/Tikun Olam project. All money will be given to a charity in Israel. Drop your coins off in the large jar at the entrance to the school.

- As our congregation looks forward to the wonderful event on April 25th to honor Arlene and Harvey Mendelson, plans are underway for a lovely celebration. Included will be a book filled with synagogue memories/events that the Mendelsons have participated in. We invite one and all to reminisce....share a synagogue story, Mendelson story...feelings. - We need co-chairs to schedule a garage sale for the end of June. Call or email Arleen at 393-9211 if you would be willing to co-chair one of the following categories: women’s clothing, men’s clothing, children’s items, housewares, linens, electronics, shoes, jewelry & boutique items, sports equipment and furniture. These fundraisers typically bring in between $4,000 and $6,000 for two weeks work.
